Losing My Virginity, Blogging…

This is it…the first blog I have ever posted. If you happen to be reading this, bear with me, remember we all have to start somewhere, and I’ll promise my posts will get better with time.

For a while now, I have been putting off starting a blog. Questioning whether or not I truly had anything worthwhile to say and if anyone would bother reading it. In realization that it doesn’t much matter what I write, if no one cares to read it I suppose I’ll be writing for myself. Hopefully however, my words will at some point be of use to some if I continue to commit myself to providing value in exchange for the time of my readers.

I look forward to getting feedback from anyone willing to leave it. Constructive criticism is welcomed, as I’m sure both I deserve it and that it will help me to become a better writer. So I thank those of you in advance for your feedback and thoughts on my posts.

Undoubtedly, in the future I will look back on this first blog with a bit of embarrassment for my humble beginnings. That said, I will leave you with my favorite quote:

“Far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory, nor defeat.”

~ Theodore Roosevelt, 1899
